Elderly Man Killed, 2 Seriously Injured In Clay County Crash

An elderly man was killed Wednesday night in a three-vehicle accident in Clay County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol that the man and a 73-year-old woman were attempting to make a left turn on State Road 21 when another vehicle was driving through the intersection. The two cars crashed and the second car ended up hitting a different vehicle that was also driving by.

The 73-year-old woman in the first car and the driver in the second car, a 27-year-old woman, both have serious injuries.

Authorities did not release the victim’s name and those of the injured. The crash remains under investigation.
