East Naples Accident Put Pedestrian In Critical Condition

It was reported that law enforcement officials are investigating the crash that left a 42-year-old pedestrian critically injured in East Naples.

Authorities said the accident happened on Airport-Pulling Road near County Road 856 in East Naples. The victim was reported to be from Golden Gate. Eyewitnesses reported that he was walking southbound on Airport-Pulling Road when he was struck by an SUV. 

According to EMS, the pedestrian was found immobile as a result of multiple injuries. He was placed on a life-support system and immediately transported to the nearest hospital.

The report says both identities remain unknown until authorities issue a final statement. No further information has been released to the public at the time of this report.

Authorities confirmed that the accident is still under investigation. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
