Driver Transported After Crashing Truck Into Deerfield Beach Home

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene where a pickup truck made a smashing stop into an occupied home on Southeast 10th Street in Deerfield Beach.

It was reported that the home was occupied at the time of the crash. However, the elderly woman and man inside were not injured.

Tony, who lives at the home said “I just heard it smash the house.” Report says the truck smashed into the elderly woman’s bedroom.

Firefighters arrived to the scene and found a Ford F-150 crashed into a yellow home in Deerfield Beach. The driver behind the wheel was transported to Broward Health North for an evaluation but did not suffer any physical injuries. Rescue officials believe the crash may have been caused by a medical condition the victim suffered while driving. It was reported that the victim’s foot had to be lifted off the gas pedal by rescue crews.

The truck has since been towed away from the scene.

The condition of the driver remains unknown.
