According to a report released by the authorities, a traffic accident on FL-93 has left a FedEx driver critically injured.
Report says the accident occurred when two cars crashed on FL-93 in Fort Myers. A FedEx truck in route was unable to swerve out of the way of the two cars and struck one of the cars causing the truck to flip on its side.
EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened and administered on-site first aid to the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that driver of the truck sustained critical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Two people in one of the cars sustained minor injuries and were also transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the second car was treated at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and say that no further details were released.
