Driver Killed In I-75 Fatal Van Accident

A 23-year-old driver died when a van slammed into a guardrail on I-75 at Miami Lakes, Florida Highway Patrol reported.

it was reported that this accident at Miami Lakes, also sent a passenger to the hospital.

A lady was driving the Honda Odyssey south on I-75 and for unknown reasons drove into the grass median. According to the FHP report, she hit the end of a guardrail. Due to this impact, the van spun around and the left side of the van struck a concrete pole in the median, troopers said.

Report says neither of the two occupants of the van, a woman and her 36-year-old male passenger, was wearing a seat belt.

The passenger was reportedly taken to a nearby medical center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed a portion of the inside lane of the interstate but traffic was flowing smoothly few hours later.
