Driver Killed After Losing Control Of Truck And Crashing Into Oncoming Traffic In Deerfield Beach A driver was killed in a crash in Deerfield Beach in Broward County.

A driver was killed in a crash in Deerfield Beach in Broward County. The two vehicle crash led to the death of a person and two others sustaining injuries, authorities said.

According to Broward Fire Rescue Officials, one victim was trapped in a vehicle after the collision. The two vehicle crash happened at Southwest 10th Street and Waterways Boulevard.

In a report by Deputies, the driver of a white pickup truck was headed east on 10th Street when he lost control of his truck and drove into oncoming traffic that was headed west. The truck struck a Nissan Pathfinder. The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene while two persons in the Nissan were taken to the hospital but are expected to fully recover.

Drivers are however advised to avoid the area, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Gina Carter, as westbound lanes on Southwest 10th Street will be closed for several hours.

Details of the victims have not been released.
