A man who was fleeing police ran into two other cars on Veronica S. Shoemaker Blvd. Seven people suffered injuries in the process, including two children.
Fort Myers police said, a 27-year-old man fled from police at a high speed southbound on Veronica S. Shoemaker Blvd. He was fleeing in a 2010 Dodge Dart, police added.
His car rear-ended a 2014 Audi car driven by a 33-year-old female. The Audi spun out of control and went off the right side of the road.
The fleeing driver’s car crossed the center turn lane and traveled into the northbound lanes where he hit a Chevrolet minivan head-on. His car finally went off the left side of the road and hit a concrete guardrail.
The Audi driver sustained moderate injuries and paramedics transported the driver by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the Chevy, a 55-year-old female, sustained moderate injuries. The four other passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Police are investigating the accident.

It appears that the failure of a driver to take caution has caused this two vehicle accident. If your child was involved in this type of accident, it’s vital to seek advice from an experienced legal professional as soon as possible.
