Report says a man was severely injured after he crashed his delivery truck cauing a fiery accident on Riverland Road.
This accident, which involved a delivery truck, happened on Riverland Road. According to the report, the 45-year-old driver of the truck veered off onto the side of the road and crashed. It was reported that the front side of the truck caught fire after the accident happened.
Authorities say, the driver swerved off the road after a bicycle, ridden by a 21-year-old woman, suddenly enter the road. In order to avoid hitting the bicycle, the delivery truck swerved off the road and crashed.
EMS and the fire rescue team arrived at the scene of the crash to render aid to the victims. The occupants of the delivery truck were able to escape the truck before the fire burned more intensely.
Authorities confirmed that there were two occupants in the delivery truck when the accident occurred. Both men were reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
