According to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a fiery accident on Hyde Grove Avenue in Jacksonville sent five to a hospital, including children.
A black pickup was making a right onto Hyde Grove Avenue when it crashed into a blue Subaru sedan. The Subaru, driven a male driver, was eastbound on Hyde Grove Avenue.
According to the report, the pickup flipped over and the driver was ejected out of the back window. Based on the investigation conducted, the 42-year-old driver of the Toyota pickup truck was not a wearing a seatbelt.
Police added that there was a family of four trapped inside their Subaru. This included the two young children with their mom and dad.
First responders and passersby who saw that the family inside the Subaru helped to extricate the victims. According to witnesses report, it was affirmed that they were able to get everyone out of the vehicle.
After the family was extricated, they and the truck driver were taken to a nearby hospital.
Police said, the five people involved were all in serious condition. No other information was made available to the public.
