Authorities reported a crash which led to a man sustaining life-threatening injuries and injured three others in Jacksonville.

According to the news release by the officials, two cars collided on East Union Street and North Market. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the crash injured three people who were transported to the hospital. One man in particular was listed in serious condition having sustained life-threatening injuries.

All lanes of East Union Street and North Market Street were closed until road crews could clear the debris. Alternative routes such as Beaver and State Streets from Main or Market Street were advised.

Authorities confirm the crash remains an active investigation. Details of the individuals involved in the crash have not been released at this time.
