Dolphin Expressway Accident In Miami Led To Multiple Injuries

The report says multiple people were injured following an accident on Dolphin Expressway after an SUV transporting children flipped over and crashed into other vehicles.

According to law enforcement officials, the accident involved eight occupants in an SUV which consisted of four children and four adults. The driver of the SUV reportedly attempted to change lanes and then apparently lost control of the vehicle. They overturned in an attempt to correct the path of the vehicle.

It was reported that as the SUV rolled it struck a Toyota Camry that was traveling along Dolphin Expressway. The Camry was pushed into the median where it came to a rest, according to officials. The incident continued with at least three other vehicular crashes after the first collision.

The report says EMS arrived at the scene of the accident soon after it happened to help the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that they quickly rescued the occupants of the SUV and began administering first aid.

According to authorities, the other people in the additional vehicles involved in the accident sustained various injuries. They were taken to different hospitals.
