Dania Beach Man Injured In Three-Vehicle Crash On Southwest 27th Avenue

A 62-year-old man from Dania Beach was injured in a chain-reaction accident with three pickup trucks on Southwest 27th Avenue.

The Dania Beach man, driving a 2013 Ford F150, was stopped in the left turn lane of northbound Southwest 27th Avenue and Southwest 3rd Street when a 1997 GMC Sierra, driven by 36-year-old man, veered into the turn lane behind Ford, striking it in the rear, according to the reports.

The impact pushed 2013 Ford F150 into the back of another pickup that was stopped in the left turn lane. That driver was not injured.

The 2013 Ford F150 driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. He was wearing a safety device.

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is presently investigating the accident.
