An accident on State Road 31 in Fort Myers is being investigated by the authorities. No fewer than three people were taken to the hospital.

In a report by the officials, the crash happened in Fort Myers and involved two cars. One of the cars involved was driven by a woman in her mid-thirties. A collision had ensued after one of the drivers lost control and switched lanes hitting the other vehicle. The female driver and her passenger were injured and taken to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment for their injuries.

The driver of the vehicle who initiated the accident was also injured and was taken to the hospital. The crash caused certain portions of the road to be closed but all lanes have since reopened and normal activities have resumed.

The names of the parties involved in the accident have not been released to the public.
