Crews made a response to a crash in Westside Jacksonville which involved a SUV and a motorcycle. The crash happened near Cassat  Avenue and Highway Avenues in Westside Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash where a motorcycle was blocking part of Cassat Avenue after it was struck by another vehicle.

According to an eye witness, a small SUV had struck the bike.  The collision was so forceful that it pushed the motorcycle halfway down the street from the location where the crash actually occurred.

According to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, two people were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash but only one person was taken to the hospital.

A thorough investigation is however ongoing. No further details have been released by the authorities.  At this time charges have not been brought against the driving of the SUV.
