Car Ran Into a Tree on Main Highway; Three Hospitalized

The police are investigating the cause of an accident after a car swerved off and crashed into a tree on Main Highway near Greenstreet Cafe.

According to emergency crews, three people sustained injuries after a Nissan Altima crashed into a tree along Main Highway. Witnesses reported that the driver of a silver car drove through the neighborhood at a high speed and swerved uncontrollably before crashing into a tree.

Some eyewitnesses who helped the victims described the crash as very unfortunate as they waited for police to arrive. Officials said the driver traveled northbound on the driveway and drove over the speed limit before crashing into the tree.

EMS stated there were three occupants in the Nissan. Consequently, EMS transported the driver and the front-seat passenger to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews also transported the other passenger to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Meanwhile, it required a great deal of time and effort to evacuate the wrecked car from the scene.
