Report says a crash involving two cars eastbound on FL-838 has resulted to injuries on three children and two adults.
According to the police report, one of the children was thrown from one of the cars. The cars reportedly crashed near Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. The child who was thrown from the car is in critical condition, a spokesman for the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The report also stated that all the victims of the accident were with serious injuries. All the victims were all transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said.
At least two lanes were blocked for several hours as rescue crews and investigators remained on the scene.
Police have not released any names yet.
