Cape Coral Accident: Two Injured In Crash That Cracked Power Pole

It has been reported that an accident that left two seriously injured delayed traffic for hours, as Cape Coral Police investigated it.

According to the report, the two-car crash was on the 1400 block of Del Prado Boulevard South in Cape Coral.

Several witnesses reported smoke billowing from Nissan as nearby witnesses pulled a driver and passenger from the Nissan.

“It was a hard hit,” said Zach Racine, who was working at Advance Auto Parts when he heard the crash. “It almost rattled the windows.”

It was further reported that a silver Nissan collided with a beige SUV, sending the SUV into a power pole, Sgt. James Lear said. The impact was so severe that the SUV’s side buckled and it nearly cracked the pole in half.

It is not certain the condition of the two drivers, but it was very likely to have sustained severe injuries.
