Bus-Car Accident Injured Four Students On North Ave of Arts

According to law enforcement officials, four school students have been severely injured after a vehicle crashed into their school bus on North Ave of Arts.

It was reported that the accident happened on North Ave of Arts where eyewitnesses said the 2013 Toyota Camry, driven by a 32-year-old man, crashed into the school bus. Some students were exiting the bus when the crash occurred, officials said.

The report says the man was attempting to drive around the school bus as it was parked at a bus stop. The driver hit the left rear of the bus when trying to go around.

EMS reportedly arrived at the scene of the accident to find four seriously injured students. They were given first aid treatment at the scene and were later transported to the nearest medical center for further care. The four injured students were reported to be three females and one male with the average age of 13.

According to the officials, the driver will receive a citation for careless driving and said the driver was not injured in the collision.
