Report says police have identified the victim of the deadly crash that killed a motorcyclist at the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard North and Northeast 10th Street.
According to a news release, 24-year-old Brandon William Bolen was riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Del Prado Boulevard when a semi-truck carrying seven cars attempted to make a left turn at the intersection with Northeast 10th Terrace.
Report says, Bolen braked in the intersection but couldn’t stop in time and struck the left side of the truck. He was reportedly thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene.
It was reported that the 43-year-old truck driver told police he didn’t see any vehicles before making the turn. An eyewitnesses said he thought Bolen was going well above the speed limit; otherwise, the truck would have been able to make its turn in time.
The truck driver was not injured.

We wish the family of Mr. Bent our deepest condolences for their loss. At this time it is important for his family to contact and discuss next steps with an attorney that is experienced in how to handle the complexities of a tragedy like this.”
