A box truck crashed into a Fort Myers business Thursday morning after another driver cut off the truck and drove away.
Fort Myers Police Department says they are searching for the hit-and-run driver that caused the crash near Fowler street and Katherine Street just after 4 a.m.
After the box truck was struck, it ran into the far right end of the All American Office Furniture store causing a broken window and roof damage.
Crews shut down Fowler street early Thursday morning while they investigated the scene.
Police said they found a Honda Sedan with major damage abandoned nearby at Nelson St. and Linhart Ave. in Fort Myers. The Sedan was towed away.
The crash is still under investigation.
According to police, there were no injuries but there was some property damage.
