A 23-Year-Old Fort Myers Man Suffered Critical Injuries in a Crash on Bayshore Road Near Nalle Road Sunday Evening, Officials Said.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 6:20 p.m.
According to investigators, the motorcyclist collided with an SUV making a turn during a flashing yellow light. The front of the bike slammed into the right side of the SUV, troopers said.
Authorities said the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The driver of the SUV was not injured in the crash.
The biker was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
