Accident On Northeast 2nd Avenue Injured Two Teachers And A Child

Two high school teachers and one child sustained injuries in a crash on Northeast 2nd Avenue and Northeast 15th Street, police said.

Authorities said the crash happened when the driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 attempted to avoid a collision with a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. Subsequently, the truck driver hit another vehicle carrying the teachers and the child on Northeast 2nd Avenue intersection.

EMS arrived at the scene of the crash and administered on-site first aid to the victims. The child suffered critical injuries, while the teachers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the truck sustained minor injuries as well. Paramedics transported the victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Police said the crash remains an active investigation. More details will be made available once the investigation is complete.
