Police said, emergency responders found one commuter unconscious and two more in critical condition after a 10-vehicle crash on Interstate 75.

According to the police report, investigators are still trying to piece together what happened. One car burst into flames after being struck during the massive accident on Interstate 75. Firefighters managed to put out the fire. Police still have to check the integrity of the road, the report added.

Paramedics transported seven people to nearby hospitals. Four individuals were reportedly in critical condition. Authorities have yet to release the victim’s identities as well as the makes and models of the cars involved. Two of the vehicles involved were commercial vehicles. Paramedics found one person in an unconscious state after the accident.

Road crews arrived at the scene and began clearing away cars, authorities said. It took approximately two hours for EMS to finish clearing all the victims for transport or departure.

The investigation into this massive accident is still ongoing. Police have yet to release any additional details or information regarding the crash.
