The Report Says Police Cruisers were Involved in a Crash Where Someone was Injured When an Officer Failed to Stop at a Stop Sign on Douglas Road.
Miami police said an officer was involved in a crash on Douglas Road. The officer, who was on routine patrol, failed to stop at the intersection of Douglas Road and Grand Avenue.
According to a witness, two babies in the back seat were in car seats which saved their lives.
The officer struck a vehicle traveling west on Grand Avenue, police reported. The officer was not injured, however, a passenger in the other car was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No further information about the condition of the victims and the identity of the people involved in the accident has not been revealed.
