A three car crash in Hialeah leaves a teenager and three adults injured, according to Miami-Dade Police Department.
The crash took place at the intersection of Northwest 32nd Avenue and 62nd Street.
A teenager was traveling eastbound on 62nd Street when he struck the back of another vehicle. That vehicle then hit the back of a third vehicle. According to the report, the teen was engrossed in a heated discussion with a friend in the same vehicle with him at the time of the accident.
The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews transported the three drivers and a passenger to a local hospital. The teen sustained a shoulder injury and the adults receive more serious injuries.
The multi-vehicle crash has led crews to temporarily close this route to traffic. Drivers are experiencing traffic delays. It is best to avoid this route and make use of an alternative route. It is best to take the Palmetto Expressway to go north or south. If you are traveling east and west please use West Flagler or the Dolphin Expressway.
Marc Anidjar, from the Law Firm of Anidjar & Levine, comments: “Almost always that first car that strikes another from the rear is liable for a three car traffic accident. In this case it has not been reported if any citations have been issued but from the facts released, it is probable. This means that the other two cars’ accident victims would be entitle to compensation for medical costs, vehicle repair, lost wages and possibly other compensation. We wish all parties in the accident a speedy recovery and please always pay attention the road, and the cars in front of you when driving. ”
