Law enforcement officials say that a woman and two others were severely injured in a head-on collision that stopped traffic on Fowler Street.
According to the police department’s spokesman, the accident occurred on Fowler Street near Morgan Auto Sales. A Nissan SUV, driven by a 41-year-old female, and a Ford Pickup truck were the two vehicles involved in the crash. Authorities did not give an official statement saying how the accident happened and are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer on-site first aid to the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that the woman in the Nissan was found unconscious at the site of the accident when EMS arrived. She was wearing her seat-belt when the accident happened.
The woman in the Nissan and the driver and passenger in the Ford Pickup truck were all transported to the hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the incident is still under investigation and no further details were released.
