Two people sustained severe injuries when a driver struck a motorcycle in motion on Dade Boulevard, Miami police said.
The accident happened when the motorcycle was attempting to navigate onto 17th Street, police said. Police reported that the 30-year old driver of the 2013 Dodge Dart rear-ended a motorcycle while in motion. According to the police, this accident occurred at the intersection between Dade Boulevard and 17th Street.
Witnesses said the 24-year-old motorcyclist indicated a turn while pulling out of the road, but the driver ignored it.
Subsequently, the motorcycle rider and the passenger fell off the motorcycle and suffered injuries to the limbs, MPD reported. Emergency crews rushed both victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge did not sustain any injury.
Glen Levine, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “Motorcycle accidents tend to lead to more injuries then automobile crashes. After an accident, victims and their families may not know where to turn. Although nothing can undo the pain and suffering that victims go through after a motorcycle accident like this, an experienced accident attorney can help you fight to get the compensation you deserve.”
