A Coral Way Accident Severely Injured A Man and His Daughter

A man and his daughter were reportedly hospitalized after a crash involving two cars on Coral Way.

According to the police, a man and his 12-year-old daughter were injured in the crash on Coral Way after their vehicle was hit by another vehicle causing it to flip over.

The man and his daughter were in a Mitsubishi Lancer when it was hit by a Nissan Murano SUV driven by a 22-year-old man. The Nissan driver was traveling in the eastbound lane and struck the Mitsubishi as it attempted to turn left onto Southwest 34th Avenue. The Mitsubishi driver was traveling in the westbound lane on Southwest 22nd Street when his car was hit on the driver’s side. After the collision the Mitsubishi flipped several times before coming to a halt.

EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer on-site first aid to the injured victims in the incident. Emergency crews reported that the man and his daughter both sustained several injuries in the crash. Both victims were in stable condition when the rescue team arrived. Firefighters and Highway Patrol team helped to pull out both father and daughter from the vehicle that was flipped over.

The identity of the SUV driver is being withheld for security reasons. Authorities are still investigating the crash and no other details were released.
