83-Year-Old Bradenton Man Dies In Wrong-Way Crash In Charlotte County %%excerpt%% Bradenton

A Bradenton man was killed after he was involved in a head-on crash on US 41 near Evergreen Drive in Charlotte County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 83-year-old man was driving a pickup truck when the crash happened. Three other people in a different pickup truck also had minor injuries after the crash.

Trooper said the Bradenton man’s pickup truck was heading the wrong way on southbound US 41, approaching Evergreen Drive and the other pickup truck was driving south on US 41 in the outside lane.

The Bradenton man’s pickup truck hit the other truck causing both of them to rotate.

FHP said the Bradenton man was pronounced dead on scene.
