Six Critically Injured After Crash On Commercial Boulevard In Broward

Authorities report that at least three people were hurt with three others critically injured in a car crash which occurred on Florida’s Turnpike in Broward County.

According to authorities, the crash happened on the northbound side of the Turnpike at Commercial Boulevard. They said they believe the crash was accidental based on descriptions from eyewitnesses.

The crash happened when a man identified to be in his early sixties stepped on the gas instead of the brakes. This caused his Toyota SUV to run into a group of people.

Meanwhile, alternative routes were advised for commuters as investigators worked. No further details were provided.
