Three Persons Suffered Injuries After a Three-Vehicle Crash on Daniels Parkway.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol news release, the crash occurred on Daniels Parkway near Westlinks Drive shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday.
A 16-year-old teen from Lehigh Acres was seriously injured in the crash.
Officials say the teen was heading east on Daniels Parkway behind two vehicles that slowed for traffic.
The teen failed to slow for traffic and drove into a second vehicle which then collided with a third vehicle in front of it.
A 26-year-old Lehigh Acres driver sustained minor injuries. A 20-year-old female passenger in the vehicle also sustained minor injuries.
An 18-year-old woman driving the third vehicle was not injured. Neither were two children in the car.
