Two People are Dead and One was Critically Injured After a Crash Involving a Car and a Motorcycle in Orange Park.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection of Townsend Road and Blanding Boulevard around 9 p.m.
Troopers say a pickup truck was traveling south on SR 21 while a motorcycle was traveling north. The pickup attempted to make a left turn onto Townsend Road when the motorcycle collided with the side of the vehicle.
FHP said that after the initial collision, the truck then collided with the front of another vehicle.
Troopers say the passenger of the pickup truck, 51, and the motorcyclist, 31, died as a result of the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle is in critical condition.
