One Taken To Hospital In Serious Condition After Crash On I-10 In Jacksonville

Authorities reported the driver of a Chevrolet SUV was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic accident on Interstate 10 in Jacksonville.

According to the news release by the authorities, the crash happened when the driver of a Hyundai Sedan lost control and crossed into the northbound lanes of traffic. He then went on to collide with the driver of a Chevrolet SUV driven by a 30-year-old man.

Paramedics arrived to the scene and administered first aid to the driver of the Chevrolet. She was transported to the hospital for further treatment with serious injuries. The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a local hospital having received minor injuries.

All lanes were initially closed while police conducted an investigation. All lanes have since reopened and normal flow has resumed. The crash remains an active investigation.
