1 Ejected In North Fort Myers Fiery Crash

Florida Highway Patrol said a car was on fire and one person was ejected in a two-car crash Monday.

According to officials, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at US-41 and Diplomat Parkway.

Emergency Services say a truck and a Ford Mustang were involved in the crash.

North Fort Myers fire crews worked to put out the flames and the exact injuries are unknown at this time.

Because of the extent of the crash, authorities needed 4 tow trucks and 2 fire trucks to clear up the debris caused by the accident.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash. Details will be released when it’s complete.
