Heath Gelman


Heath Gelman is a Litigation Attorney practicing out of the Southwest Florida offices of Anidjar and Levine, and covering the entire South Florida region.   Mr. Gelman handles automobile negligence, slip/trip and fall, wrongful death, and other victims of negligence in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Broward, Dade, Sarasota, and Hillsborough Counties. Since graduating law school over twenty years ago, Heath Gelman has focused his practice in personal injury litigation.  After working for some of the largest civil litigation firms representing insurance companies and businesses, he decided he wanted to solely represent the victims of litigation and achieve the best possible result for his clients.   Mr. Gelman has a track record of success in the courtroom and garnering significant settlements for his clients.   He has tried cases for the Assistant Public Defender Office in Broward County as a law school intern, and representing insurance companies with the defense firm of Kubicki Draper in Broward and Lee County,  and Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, one of the oldest firms in the state of Florida.   He has lectured on various litigation and insurance bad faith topics and has also published numerous blog articles on insurance bad faith, Covid-19 business interruption, and other topics.

Mr. Gelman was selected in 2021 by his peers and published in Naples Illustrated Magazine as a top personal injury litigation attorney and insurance attorney.   Further, he was nominated to the prestigious FDCC for his work at a prior firm.   Additionally, he has represented lawyers, and professionals in professional liability matters.   Previously, Mr. Gelman has worked at another well-known personal injury firm garnering excellent results for satisfied clients.   He is a very respected member of the Lee County Bar by other attorneys, clients, mediators, and Judges.

Heath’s wife, Lisa, is also a practicing attorney in the field of Elder law and Guardianship in Fort Myers.   They have four kids, and when not working, can be found on the sport fields, or local events.   Heath has been involved with local charities such as Harry Chapin, providing food for local at-need families,  and contributes to other local charities.   In his quiet time, he is an avid reader and student of history, and further enjoys time on the beautiful Southwest Florida beaches with his family.
